Gavrilović Krainer sausage | Kranjska kobasica 320g


The world famous Krainer was named by the Austrian emperor Franz Joseph in when he was travelling through the province of Carniola. A country tavern owner humbly offered him his home-made sausages which had no particular name. Delighted with the new flavour, the emperor named it Krainer Wurst, Krainer sausage, after the province.

On Christmas 2006, Krainer sausages had the honour of being part of the breakfast menu in space.


Ingredients: pork (85%), pork fat, pork rind, water, table salt, spices, dextrose, antioxidant (E300), acidity regulator (E450, E451), spice extracts, aroma, colouring agent (E120), preservative (E250), smoke. May contain traces of soy, wheat gluten and milk.

Delicious and versatile

Lovely on its own, boiled Or fried,with some crusty bread and mustard, and excellent in casserole dishes too.
